Zapallar

Finally, after two months, Tony came to visit me in Chile. For one night we went to explore the quiet and very beautiful town of Zapallar. Locates about 2 hour by car and 3 hours by bus from Santiago, this town offers gorgeous ocean views, quiet restaurants, and fresh seafood. We only stayed one night and that was enough to go out to a nice restaurant, take a walk by the beach, explore some shops. Verdict: a beautiful town but way too quiet! I bet during high season this town is hopping! This is the low season so many shops and cafés were closed for the season. We stayed in Hotel Isla Seca(a bit of the beaten path) and ate at Restaurant Cesar (great congri broth!)

Tequila. Why did I forget to order him a pisco sour?...

Tony gave me a birthday card for each day he has been here, and that's one of them #swoon!
