Daria is a PhD student at Seton Hall University and a long time public school teacher. She is a long time member of Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education, Phi Delta Kappa member, and a graduate student committee member. She holds a bachelor's degree from Kean University in Spanish language and Literature and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Management, and Policy from Seton Hall University.
Her research interests include contemplative practices in education, students assessment, community engagement, educational technologies, teacher effectiveness, work place productivity, and international comparative education.
When she is not teaching, researching, or writing, she loves to practice yoga, spend time with her husband, and tend to her garden.
She is a recipient of the 2016-2017 Fulbright Distinguished Award in Teaching, USA to Chile.
